Medication review appointments are carried out by our pharmacy teams before your appointment you may be invited in for monitoring blood tests/BP check where appropriate prior to your appointment.
How do I...Order repeat prescriptions?
To order repeat prescriptions online:
- Use Patient Access (you will need to register for this service, you can also access the service using your NHS Account)
- Use your NHS App (through the NHS website, NHS App). These show you your repeat medicine and dosage so you can choose the ones you need.
- Email - You can request your medication via email gmicb-sto.p88011.receptionteam@nhs.net
- In practice using the medication order form
We try to process all repeat prescriptions within 48 hours i.e., two working days and 72 hours, three working days, following bank holiday periods.
Prescriptions that need to be reauthorised or require changes to be made may take up to four days to be processed.
How do I...Order a prescription for something that is NOT on repeat?
lease email your request or complete a medication request form and hand into reception – please include which medication you are requesting, the dose, why you would like it and when you last had it.
A GP will review your request and either issue it or advise if you need an appointment or further tests first.
